Welcome to Quinn Strength and Conditioning (QSC). I've been a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach for six years. In that time, I've worked with hundreds of different people at different stages of life and physical ability. I enjoy helping people reach their fitness goals and customizing the exercise prescription for that specific individual, taking into account their injury history, goals, movement patterns, and asymmetries. I meet people where they are at and we develop a relationship. I care about every clients wellness and fitness. I draw from various types of training and exercise systems (including yoga, olympic weightlifting, bodybuilding, muay thai, cross-functional training, plyometrics, movement screens), and I prescribe what will work best for that individual client and their goals.
I was always into sports when I was growing up, but quit once I graduated high school. At that point I continued lifting weights, but became overweight from poor lifestyle choices while in college. I spent a month in Fort Knox doing a leadership course with the Army ROTC program, which taught me the discipline and motivation to overcome barriers to achieve success and change behaviors. After that experience, I took that drive and applied it to my own health and fitness and was able to lose 50 lbs and gained more strength. This motivated me to begin training others and I became focused on learning how to help other people reach their goals while preventing future injuries that could arise if they continued following a cookie cutter program online or something arbitrarily put together.
If you have any question in your mind about technique or programming or if you feel like something is missing, come see me. I can find it and I will see it and I can help you address it so you continue making progress.
